About BienStar Consulting
Language. Culture. Well-Being.
BienStar Consulting is a multidisciplinary social impact firm rooted in language justice, cultural production, and embodied well-being.
Founded by Andreína Maldonado, a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist, language justice practitioner, and trauma-informed wellness facilitator, BienStar began as a language access initiative serving nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area. Over time, it evolved into a three-pillar ecosystem integrating professional interpretation services, arts-based storytelling, and community-centered wellness programming.

Today, BienStar partners with worker centers, nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, public agencies, and movement leaders to build sustainable, multilingual, and culturally grounded spaces.

Our Approach
We operate through three integrated pillars:

Language Justice
Professional interpretation, translation, and multilingual infrastructure that ensures equitable participation across languages.

Arts & Cultural Production
Music, performance, and community-centered storytelling that uplifts worker voices and preserves collective memory.

Well-Being & Embodied Leadership
Trauma-informed practices supporting emotional regulation, resilience, and sustainable movement leadership

Together, these pillars create environments where communities can fully participate, express collectively, and lead sustainably.

Our Commitment
We believe that:

-
Language access is foundational to equity.

-
Cultural expression strengthens identity and resistance.

-
Embodied well-being sustains long-term social change.

-
Our work bridges infrastructure and imagination — supporting both the operational and human dimensions of community work.
