About the event
We invite you to celebrate and uplift working-class, immigrant women stories! “How I Keep Looking Up” Parade Celebration will be hosted on the Rolland and Kathryn Lowe Community Bridge where you will be able to witness a stunning view of the iconic Chinese New Year Parade. The 16 flags of “How I Keep Looking Up” will be unveiled at the Parade, carried by the women participants and their families.
You will experience an unforgettable night of food, music, art, and cultural celebration embraced by local API and LatinX creators. We will have bites by local Asian American foodmakers, hot boba bar and other refreshments, a dance floor, photo booth, art activities and more. This event will be hybrid indoor/outdoor, and masks are recommended.
